'Doring' was a good businessman in the Philippines. He sold cows, horses and carabao in Urdanetta, Pangasinan. His hobbies includes cooking for friends and families' weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasions; gambling because he thinks that he'll always win; and dancing-social and fundraising dancing where he showed how he 'struts' his stuff. He's always the first one to bid for a dance (even if he does not have money to bid). But the one thing that he always likes it to do is entertain, whether you are neighbor or a family/friend from the mainland, Philippines or Spain, he was always there for you.
He also liked to cook. Since he starts work early in the morning and finishes in the early afternoon, food was always prepared and ready for the family whenever they came home from work. But he did NOT do dishes. This was done by the rest of the family.
He was also known as the 'HAPPY GO-LUCKY MAN' as nothing seemed to bother him. Whether it was scolding from his wife, children, friends and family, he was always 'cool'. No getting mad, upset, stressed, throwing pots and dishes, talking back, etc. no. He was 'cool' and yes, of course there was always the reliever, 'BEER'.
In 2011, he was diagnosed w/ Pneumonia Interval and later on, Cerebrovascular disease. The disease was treated and controlled w/ medication, however, over time; he became tired and realized maybe it was time to rest. He discontinued his medication until his passing.
